Volkswagen once again moves to the center stage when the curtain rises on the 57th Berlin International Film Festival. The Wolfsburg-based company is providing the largest fleet yet since it started its support for the Berlinale, with a line-up of 132 vehicles. The models taking part in Berlin are the Phaeton, Touareg, Eos, Multivan and Golf plus. Making its debut this year is the “Volksbus” provided by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles for the Volkswagen Film Location Tour, the Berlin sightseeing tour with a difference which visits memorable international film locations.

The idea behind the extended, broad-ranging support given by Volkswagen is to foster innovation and encourage young talent. As Christiane Krebs-Hartmann, Head of Public Relations, commented: "We are very excited about this year’s Festival, the fifth in our successful partnership, and once again look forward to realizing new creative approaches."
