Ken Bennett of 2Bennett Audimotive was recently involved in an on-track accident while driving his S4 GTR at Watkins Glenn. As many of you know, Ken was already paralyzed from the waist down due to an accident when he was younger. Yet despite this, he is still one of the most active and energetic people in the Audi aftermarket and has a great sense of humor. At the track he is always smiling and, using hand controls in his GTR, he is consistently the fastest car on track. He is always inspired me to do more with my life, because he does so much more than we dream is possible. This recent accident has left him hospitalized, paralyzed from the neck down and not able to breathe on his own. Ken is receiving the finest care possible, and has surgery planned to hopefully restore spinal activity in his upper body. But at this point all we can do is hope, pray and think positively about his future. If you would like, I suggest sending a letter of encouragement to him at 2Bennett, he could use it right now and I cannot even begin to imagine what it must feel like to be in his position right now.
