Bimmerfest is this Saturday, and like most BMW owners, we are still finishing up our project car last minute! With H&R coilovers fitted, our BMW 135i sits nicely, but everything else has remained stock till now.

DCR Wheel

With the help of The Wheel Supply from Walnut, CA and DCR Forged Wheels, we plan to showcase a set a 19” wheels. The wheel centers have been cut and are being powdercoated today while the lips are being chromed. It’s coming down to the wire but hopefully you’ll witness one of the cleanest BMW 1ers in North America this weekend.

1. I hope the crew at The Wheel Supply are paying special attention to the wheels they are making for you guys. I bought a set of DCR wheels for my BMW and had nothing but problems with them. I averaged a flat tire every week...sometimes more often. These wheels are unsafe. Over half of the fasteners were lose.

I understand that sometimes a product is defective, but it is more about how the company handles the problem. The people at DCR kept telling me that they were going to fix the problems and when they couldn't repair them, they promised me a refund. They were all lies. Now they won't even answer my e-mails. I have since met up with other people in the same situation as I am in. Please, for safety's sake be careful if you drive on DCR wheels, and have them checked out often for problems.
