Plagued with maintenance issues, Project Silverstone made a comeback to Wustefest last weekend thanks to the help of several tuners who helped get the car ready for the 600-mile roundtrip drive You'll notice the Lambo-style wheels which give the '03 GTI an updated look. These Hartmann wheels are available from achtuning.com and were installed using H&R adapters. 19x8" all-around wrapped in Nitto Neo Gen tires ensured a good stance and decent handling for the car. Our GTI also experienced some problems with its engine speed sensor, coilpacks and MAF. We ordered parts from 034 Motorsport to get the car was back up to speed for the drive.
