It’s been called one of the most unforgettable rallies to hit California. We’re talking about the Targa Trophy which kicks off its ’09 series this Saturday in Orange County, CA.

If you’re unfamiliar with Targa Trophy, it’s a one-day road rally that tests drivers on their driving skill but more importantly time and mileage management. Drivers are expected to arrive at their destination in a specific time window without making any short cuts.

The line-up at Targa Trophy included many high profile vehicles to modified cars including Ferrari F430s, Lamborghini Gallardos, Audi S4s and BMW M3s.
This weekend’s event will start at South Coast Plaza nears Sak’s Fifth Avenue. If you want to check out the cars, come by between 7-9AM. If you can’t make it there, the finish line of the event is the Westin Hotel at South Coast Plaza. Expect cars to arrive between 5-6PM.
