Leading Japanese BMW tuner, Studie AG, unveiled its latest project car at the recent Import Show in Tokyo. With tuning centers in several Japanese cities, such as Yokohama and Tokyo, the company produces a stunning new project car every year. This time, they started with a 2009 E90 BMW 335i sedan and created a phenomenal replica of a racecar from the World Touring Car Championship – an FIA-sanctioned series (www.fiawtcc.com) that races around the globe but misses North America.
We will bring you the full story of this amazing car’s development in a future issue of eurotuner magazine, but we can divulge it uses a genuine body kit from the Schubert Motorsport race team in Germany.
In addition to the Schubert parts, Studie added its own WTCC-style front bumper and finished off the car with a set of 19” BBS wheels, Brembo brakes, KW suspension, Recaro seats and Arqray exhaust.
