We were in Las Vegas early yesterday to preview this year’s SEMA Show. Although most of the booths weren’t constructed yet, many of the cars were scattered outside the Convention Center showground.
Already situated were plenty of clean Euros including William Langford’s widebody VW R32. The R’s 3.2 liter V6 has been turbocharged by HPA Motorsport to 425hp. The bodywork consists of Newing Alpil RSR fenders, bumper and valances from Japan while the wheels are TSW. The trunk also has a full stereo.
Next to the R32 is an HPF-turbocharged M3. We also spotted Oscar Trevizo’s HPF-M3 there as well with a new rear wing, diffuser and polished wheels mounted on the passenger side.
Plenty of the BMWs from M-Fest 3 were present. Mothers Car Care held a car wash behind the convention center and offered car owners a full detail for $50. At the car wash we found Robert Henning’s HPF-M3, Jayare Marquez VF-supercharged M3, Brian Sosa’s Gintani-charged four-door M3 and more.
The most spectacular car we found driving around was the HTT Plethore LC-750. With a center-driving position, the three-passenger supercar boasts a 6.2 liter V8 pushing out 750hp.
There have been plenty of rumors circulating that this show will be smaller then ever, but from what we saw at roll-in, it’s hard to believe. We’ll see when the show starts tomorrow. Stay tuned with et as we bring you the latest Euro news from the show!
