We’d like to congratulate the three winners of the GoPro HD Motorsports Hero Cameras following a competition we ran in the 12/09 issue of eurotuner magazine.
The competition asked participants to send us their best photograph of a modified European car. And after the judges sifted through the entrants, these are the lucky winners:
Andrew Nienhuis sent a photo of his autocrossing 911.
James Loiacono got artistic with his Jetta.
Nick Bode went black & white for his 328is keys.
All three will be receiving their GoPro HD Motorsports Hero Cameras in the mail.
The new 1080p high-definition (HD) cameras csot just $299 and provide 1920x1080 resolution, which can be scaled down to 720p to get double the frames per second for smoother video or for slow-motion capability.
The wide-angle lens offers 170˚ of vision, making the footage even more exciting. Although there are a number of accessories available, which include a different lens and other mounts.
Once it’s on the car, just set it and forget it. One button is all it takes to start filming to the memory card. If you don’t want video, the GoPro takes equally great stills in photo mode.
New for the GoPro HD is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack, which provides 2-3 hours of recording time.
Once again, congratulations to the winners.
