With almost 1.4 million clicks, the video “S1000RR Dinner Spot” became the most successful BMW film on YouTube ever – a video that found recognition recently at the Spotlight International Advertising Film Festival in Mannheim in the “Web and Mobile” category.
The video depicts a well-known magic trick where a magician pulls the tablecloth off a small table without damaging the plates or glasses.
In the BMW video, a BMW S1000RR superbike goes one better: Thanks to its acceleration of 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds, the ’bike is able to pull the tablecloth from a banquet table leaving everything intact.
