The week after the August issue closed, things got pretty relaxed around here. I’ve worked on a couple of videos that will be coming soon, and prepared for what proved to be an EPIC weekend in Vegas for Wuste 2010.
Sam, Justin, and I met on Friday in Vegas – I rode up with a couple of friends. We caravanned with a group of Dubs and an Audi – we were the lone BMW in the group.
Once we hit Barstow and stepped into the 90+ degree heat, I knew it was gonna be a scorcher all weekend. 114˚ at the hottest to be exact – a record for this time of year, apparently.
Friday night brought Wuste’s top-ten contenders for “King of the Desert” onto the roof of the parking structure. All were very impressive, but I was equally excited to see how the other three levels reserved for show cars were going to fill up. And boy, did they!

On Saturday when the show and shine started, it was as if there were different car shows on each parking level.
So the combination of hundreds of rides, late nights, early photo shoots and some hilarious memories (what happens in Vegas… ) made for an awesome weekend. It will definitely be hard to match it back in the office, but hopefully the imminent highlight video on eurotuner.com and youtube.com/eurotuner will let it live on for just a little longer. Stay tuned for that…
