Nitto and drifting are going Hollywood! Today, April 15, Nitto will close down Hollywood Boulevard in the heart of Los Angeles to put on a drift exhibition. At 6 p.m. outside the historic Kodak Theater, a Mazda RX-8 and BMW 335i will perform a show.
The BMW is a future eurotuner feature story built and driven by Michael Essa of GSR Autosports. In place of the factory straight six is a V10 powerplant out of an M5. The motor and chassis has specifically been modified for drifting. The car debuted at Formula D last weekend. Stay tuned for our feature story in the August ’10 issue.
