There’s no watercooled Volkswagen show with as much history and action as Waterfest. Celebrating 16 years, the big show returned to Englishtown Raceway Park in New Jersey this month for a weekend of North America’s best VW and Audis.
This year, the heat proved to be brutal. In fact, brutal may be an understatement. With 95-degree temperatures and ridiculous humidity, it was unbearable to walk the showgrounds or watch drag racing without sweating through liters of water. Treacherously hot weather might have dampened the car show and race car attendance but still made for a wonderful event, especially on Sunday, the main day.
We will have a full show report for you in the October 2010 issue of eurotuner with the best show cars, drag racing results and newest parts.
If you haven’t already checked our youtube.com/eurotuner site, we also have a couple short videos of Waterfest and our annual Kreuzerfest.
