Sadly the time has arrived; my last week as eurotuner’s intern. I can’t believe it’s been 12 weeks but, looking back, I’ve been able to do a lot.
Before I get to my stint here, let me briefly overview this past week. It mostly consisted of the Castrol Syntec Top Car Challenge. Sam and I took a fairly uneventful drive out to the lovely Buttonwillow Raceway to support our competitor: Oscar Trevizo’s HPF-powered E46 M3 turbo. While it may have been one of the best-looking cars there, unfortunately the performance didn’t take us to an overall win. There should be some great video of the event online soon, so keep an eye out for that.
Back to my “career” at eurotuner. Over the past 12 weeks, I’ve managed to make a slew of videos for the website, written three features for the August, September, and October issues, written multiple departments for those issues and helped with other contributions to web content and office demeanor.
Also in my time here, I’ve sold a car (S4,) fixed a car (Mk2) and recently purchased a new Mk4 Golf 1.8T four-door. While it sits stock right now, I definitely have plans for it sooner than later.
So for now, it’s back to finishing the October issue, continuing to distract our art directors and maybe, just maybe, giving Sam a little bit more trash talk about his hair.
