This week, the new Pagani Huayra was unveiled in Italy. And already, the guys from New For Speed videogame are on the ball.

For the Shift 2 Unleashed game, the Huayra will also take center stage in the game. The car will be available exclusively in the game later this year, and it adds to a star-studded roster to the critically acclaimed Need for Speed simulation series.

The team at Slightly Mad Studios has recreated the form and function of the supercar from its elegant body shape to its 700hp engine and 230mph top speed. Shift 2 Unleashed is claimed to be this year’s most authentic racing game which races onto retail shelves in North America on March 29 and in Europe beginning on March 31. It will be available on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC.
