With the SEMA 2011 show in Las Vegas fast approaching in November, the organizers of Sony's ninth annual Gran Turismo Awards are looking for entries.
Every year, the GT Awards give SEMA exhibitors the chance to have their car featured in a future version of the PlayStation Gran Turismo video game as a drivable vehicle - it doesn't get much cooler than that!
In order to qualify, the car must be on display at the 2011 SEMA show and entered into the judging categories that include: truck/SUV, Asian import, European import, domestic and hot rod.
The best cars submitted in each category will be judged by Kazunori Yamauchi, Gran Turismo creator and CEO of Polyphony Digital, who will then award the "Best in Show" prize to one of the five finalists.
Last year, the prize went to a hot rod, but European cars have done well over the years. So if you wish to be considered for the top prize of appearing in the Gran Turismo video game, visit http://www.granturismoawards.com/
