Codemasters has announced its newest release: DiRT 3 Complete Edition. This new title is basically a box set that includes the original DiRT 3 racing game as well as more than $30 of additional content that was released since the game’s original launch.
From tracks in Asia and Monte Carlo to finely-tuned Gymkhana cars, DiRT 3 Complete Edition packages every component of the award winning off-road racing game when it arrives in stores in March.
Rated as Gamespot’s “Racing Game of the Year”, DiRT 3 Complete Edition is expanded over the original release with the addition of 12 new routes across two locations, new cars and a range of liveries to create the definitive version of the rally game.
The extra features include:
1. The Monte Carlo Rally Pack with eight rally stages through the dramatic mountain route.
2. The X Games Asia Track Pack with four new rallycross routes across two new tracks in Shibuya, in downtown Tokyo.
3. The Power and Glory Car Pack stars five cars including the BMW M3 rally, Lancia Delta S4, Ford Focus ST rallycross, Scion tC and Chevrolet Camaro SSX Concept. And each car comes with a range of liveries.
4. The Mud and Guts Car Pack features five cars such as the Lancia Stratos, Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2, Citroën C4 rallycross, Saturn Sky and Ford Mustang GT, each with a range of liveries.
5. The Colin McRae Vision Charity Pack gives you access to a Mk2 Ford Escort in five cassic liveries.
6. The Ken Block Special Pack features a customized and upgraded Mk2 Ford Escort sporting a Ken Block livery, similar to the car Block owns.
7. The Mini Gymkhana Special Pack gives you a mid-engined Mini Cooper S Gymkhana, customized and tuned to become an ideal entrant for the Gymkhana stages.
These special cars and tracks are in addition to the content crammed into the original DiRT 3 itself, where you race in the forests of Michigan to the roads of Finland and the national parks of Kenya. Players take on a wide range of disciplines including Gymkhana, Rallycross, Landrush, Head 2 Head and Trailblazer as well as the signature Rally content that gave the game its name.
DiRT 3 Complete Edition will retail for $39.99 on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
