Two wheels on opposite ends of the price spectrum attract everyone to the HRE Wheels booth at SEMA.
HRE Wheels has been the benchmark in the wheel industry for quality and design. During SEMA they unveiled two new wheels that end up on opposite ends of the spectrum in price points but certainly not in quality delivered. Their highly anticipated FlowForm Series is the company’s entry-level line of wheels for the quality driven buyer. You can now walk away with a full set of HRE wheels for under $3k opposed to their forged set starting at about $1200 a corner. While the series is meant to bring aspirational HRE buyers into the brand, it will however only (for the time being) consist of two design styles. Their current mesh style wheel will be available early 2013 and the design to follow will be released around summer/fall of 2013.

HRE’s CF2 wheel is dramatic design leap into the world of conical engineering with super cars in mind. Combining this technology with carbon fiber just makes our mind explode. The theme for the weekend was to pick up the wheel with one hand to actually feel the difference. Last time we picked up a wheel this light it was going on an F1 car.
